You may have been struggling with negative thoughts, feelings of emptiness, stress, or unexplained mood swings. Others have had difficulties in relationships with partners, friends, and family. While addiction may contribute to these issues, undiagnosed mental health disorders may also be at fault.
Most people who struggle with different forms of mental illness have never received an official diagnosis. Rather than seeking the help they need, many people turn to drugs or alcohol as a way to self-medicate. Each Client who comes to our facility will undergo an assessment to find out if underlying mental health issues are at the core of their struggles. Addressing both addiction and any possible co-occurring disorders is the best way to prevent relapse down the road.
Some of the most common mental illnesses include:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Bipolar
- Borderline personality disorder
- PTSD
- ADHD
