Crest Park

While this park is a little on the smaller side, it has a stunning vista with a view high above Lake Arrowhead.

For those who don’t want to get out and hike in the high altitude, the park and vista can be reached while driving around the rim of the valley it overlooks.

Crest Park offers a breathtaking view. Stop, relax, and enjoy the views on this scenic drive for when you feel like getting out and about.

Mackay Park

Down on Rouse Ranch road is Mackay Park, a scenic little location with a view of the lake, mostly enjoyed by locals.

With playgrounds, walking paths, and even exercise equipment, Mackay park is a great place to stay active, while still in a natural, peaceful environment.

Often reviewed as a great place to take kids, and for being breezy and cool in the summer months, the park is pulling a 4.4 average rating among Google reviewers.

Dogwood Family Campground

If you’re looking for a place to camp that still has lots of amenities, you’ll want to stay at Dogwood Family Campground.

There is a firepit and enough space for two vehicles at each site, which are easy to get to thanks to the paved driveways, and some sites are large enough for trailers.

Best of all, the site has clean bathrooms and showers with hot water, for when your family is not ready to rough it all the way.

Lollipop Park

Lollipop Park is an amusement park right on the edge of the water in Lake Arrowhead Village.

The park features rides like bumper cars and a train to cart you around, as well as an ice cream shop, which kids will be especially excited about.

On top of the rides, there are also several little shops. It’s a great place to cool off and entertain the family on the lake.

Grass Valley Park

Along Golf Course Road you can find Grass Valley Park, which is an Arrowhead Lake Association exclusive park with access controlled entry, occasionally patrolled by ALA staff.

For ALA members though, the park is a gem. Dog-friendly, with doggie bags provided, playgrounds, a fishing pond, and more.

Beloved by members who frequent it, the park is rated 4.5 stars via Google Reviews.
