Types of Rehab for Drug Addiction

Just as there are many types of people and addictions, there are many forms of rehab for drug addiction. There are varying levels of care to address all the unique needs clients may have and fit into all of their diverse lifestyles.

At Serenity Lodge, we offer three primary levels of treatment for men with substance addiction:

Residential Inpatient. This is the most elaborate and effective method to address substance addiction. Clients stay at our facility and receive round-the-clock supervision and care, preventing any chance of re-exposure to substances. Clients in this program also have access to our beautiful campus and vast amenities.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). PHP offers a more flexible schedule than residential inpatient; a middle-ground between residential and outpatient treatment. This program is perfect for men that struggle with severe addiction and mental health, but want more flexibility in their program.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Many men can’t or don’t want to check into a rehab facility. For many, that would mean putting their life on pause to seek treatment. An IOP offers the treatment a person needs to overcome substance addiction while still allowing them to live at home. An IOP can also be a great next step for someone who just completed an inpatient or PHP.

All forms of rehab for drug addiction have their pros and cons. The best way to find out what works for you is to identify what you need from a drug rehab facility and see which program meets your needs.
